Legacy Monitor – How to Add Sensor(s)

This article will go over the steps to program a new sensor(s) to the Legacy Monitor.

Please Note: In order to program a new sensor, the old sensor will have to be deleted before you can program. To delete a sensor, review article Legacy Monitor – How to Delete Sensor. Old sensor(s) must be removed from tire location before starting.

Step 1) In order to program sensor(s) you have to put the Monitor is Program Mode. To do this, press and hold the PROG button for 5 seconds. The green LED will turn solid.

Please Note: The system will exit Program Mode if there is no activity for 10 minutes. If this happens, simply place the Monitor back into Program Mode.

Step 2) Using the Up & Down Arrows, navigate to the tire location you wish to program a sensor to. Once on the location, the LED read out will display “no SEn Sor“. If it does NOT display “no SEn Sor“, please review the article Legacy Monitor – How to Delete Sensor

Step 3) Walk out to the tire location and put a new sensor on the tire. The sensor will automatically sync up to the monitor after 1 or 2 minutes. Plese Note: Old sensor(s) must be removed from tire location before starting.

Step 4) Back at the Monitor, once the sensor is synced, you’ll get a pressure reading on the LED read out. If you have a pressure reading, press and hold the PROG button for 2 seconds. This will lock in the new sensor.

Repeat steps 2 through 4 if you have multiple sensors that need replaced.
