Legacy Monitor – How to Adjust Reference Pressure (Baseline Pressure)

In this article we’ll go over how to update the Reference Pressure on the Legacy Monitor. When sensors are installed, they recognize the tire’s current pressure as their Baseline. Please Note: It is recommended to install sensors with all tires inflated to the manufacturer’s recommended pressures while the tires are cool. Resetting the Reference Pressure (Baseline Pressure) immediately after driving can result in FALSE alerts.

Step 1) Make sure the Monitor is powered on. Remove Sensor from Tire for at least 30 seconds.

Step 2) Adjust air pressure in tire to desired pressure.

Step 3) Place Sensor back on tire.

Once the sensor is back on the tire, the Monitor will display a new Reference Pressure (Baseline Pressure).
